EVENT CODE OF CONDUCT

The Roller Derby World Cup strives to provide a safe and enjoyable event for everyone in attendance. We ask for your compliance with our Code of Conduct, which is designed to uphold the spirit of roller derby and ensure a safe, professional, and positive environment. All reports of Code of Conduct violations will be taken seriously.
Attendees, including guests, spectators, tournament staff and volunteers, officials, coaches, players, and vendors, are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards fellow members of the roller derby community at all times. Attendees are responsible for their behavior and must hold themselves accountable.
This Code of Conduct prohibits any form of verbal abuse or harassment, sexual harassment or assault, and physical violence. Discriminatory or demeaning behavior based on characteristics such as sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, race, color, national origin, religion, age, disability status, veteran status, or any other characteristic is strictly prohibited.
Attendees must comply with venue policies and local laws at all times. We ask for your assistance in creating an environment free of:
Abusive or foul language and obscene gestures directed towards guests, spectators, tournament staff and volunteers, venue employees, officials, coaches, players, and vendors.
Guests who are disruptive to the event or impair other guests’ enjoyment.
Smoking, except in designated areas (located outside the venue).
Prohibited items such as weapons, non-service animals, air horns, megaphones, laser pointers, and other items deemed inappropriate, harmful, or hazardous.
Professional cameras, video cameras, and audio recorders without proper authorization and credentials.
Unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Banners or signs that obstruct the view of guests, obscure sponsor advertising, contain objectionable content, or are commercial in nature. The Roller Derby World Cup and the venue reserve the right to remove any banner or sign at any time.
Live streaming any gameplay of the event is STRICTLY prohibited.
Violation of the Roller Derby World Cup Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary measures, including ejection from the venue. If you are refused entry or requested to leave for non-compliance, you will not be entitled to a replacement or refund of your ticket. Entry to the venue constitutes acceptance of the Code of Conduct and venue regulations.
