About our hosts, venue and the city of Innsbruck:

The host league, Fearless Bruisers Roller Derby Innsbruck, were established in 2016, during the years when Austrian Roller Derby was just getting its wheels on the ground. What started as a feminist initiative quickly turned into a passionate team, dedicated to the sport and culture of roller derby. Their founding goal remains an important part of the team's character today: "to bring queer-feminist contact sports on roller skates to Innsbruck and to take down conventional ideas of femininity* in a strong, courageous and self-determined way."

Innsbruck, Austria, with its rich history, amazing natural beauty, vibrant cultural scene, and diverse attractions, allures travelers from around the globe. Thanks to the mountain sport enthusiasts who flock to the city year-round and the university, which brings in students from all over the world, the atmosphere in the city is diverse and open.

The venue, Olympiaworld, was originally built for the Winter Olympic Games in 1964. It has since been renovated and expanded to become a modern, multi-use sports complex that hosts a variety of events from concerts to conferences to large sporting events. This venue is large enough to support the anticipated 5 simultaneous tracks that will be necessary for the 2025 Roller Derby World Cup, as well as offering plenty of ancillary spaces for spectators, participants, vendors, and press.

LIVESTREAM! PASSES AVAILABLE HERE. To purchase a pass, click on any day, any track and it will take you to the screen to either log in or sign up. Then, once you make your purchase, you will be able to access the event once it is live. All games will still be on the server after the event, so you can watch again and again. It is recommended to purchase your pass in advance, as prices for the 4-day pass will go up on game days. We will have exclusive between-game content as well! You can purchase the 4-day pass, or each day individually.

CAMERA POLICY!
If you plan to bring a professional camera to Innsbruck but are not one of our official photographers, you must request an “audience photo credential” by filling out this form. This credential will allow you to use your camera, but you must follow some rules, which are outlined on the link above. 

Live streaming games at the event is strictly prohibited and may result in removal without re-entry and without refund.

Ticket holders will need their ticket confirmation (either printed or on your phone) to receive a wristband. The ticket confirmation will be scanned so make sure you have the barcode visible. Ticket holders have the option to pick up their wristbands the day before at the venue. More info to come.

The evening of 2 July will include a parade to the city centre starting at 5pm at the venue. Join us! An after-party is planned at the venue after the conclusion of the event. More info about our side events.

MERCH! Teams will be selling merch! Please support the teams! There is an ATM at the venue. Some teams may not be able to take digital payments, so having cash on hand is a great idea. We have many vendors in our vendor village, plus we will have event merch and the Fearless Bruisers will have merch, so bring an extra suitcase for your trip home. Some teams have pre-sales for merch, so check their social media accounts.

If parking at the venue, expect a parking fee (most likely €20 per day).

There will be plenty of food options at the venue (restaurant, snack bar, food stands, etc). Alcohol will be for sale.

Only service dogs are allowed in the building, no other animals permitted.

We do not have any contracts with hotels so we are unable to recommend hotels however we do have a link to use for discounted flights thanks to Lufthansa and other participating airlines.
