Thanks for coming!

We really want to thank all of the teams for coming to Toronto for the first ever Roller Derby World Cup.

When we started planning this event, we were expecting that what we would get out of it was an amazing weekend of derby, but when all of the teams arrived and started playing games and interacting with eachother, we realized that what we were creating wasn’t just derby action.

A favourite moment of the entire weekend was Team New Zealand’s Haka during the opening ceremonies. Thank you so much for that!

Thanks to everyone for sharing your culture and your ass kicking! And thanks to Jules for capturing this moment on video.

After the After Party!

You can party all night… but our bus drivers can’t!
We will have a limited amount of buses shuttling back to both hotels from the after party. However, we have arranged a flat rate for taxi service for those who miss the bus. Please be aware of this so you can party accordingly. And just so you know, the after party is walking distance from the bunker. So you saved half your taxi fare already!
If you have questions, please ask!

Tickets are sold out for Saturday and Sunday. Waiting List is cl0sed.

Single chairs are for VIP only. Bleacher seating is available but limited, other options are sitting on the ground or standing. Some vendors have seat cushions for sale to make sitting on the ground and bleachers more comfortable. You are welcome to bring your own folding chair and find a spot! It is suggested you pick out your seat (or where you want to stand) before each bout starts, before the crowd forms at that track.

There is a small amount of event programs remaining, so buy one before they are all gone! Available at the Blood & Thunder booth. We sold out of World Cup shirts and hoodies Friday but we will have more starting Saturday morning.

You can purchase DVDs of each bout, almost immediately after the last point is scored,  just come to our booth and pick out which bout(s) you want!  These DVDs will work in any DVD player, no matter what country you watch it in. You can also purchase the DVDs online at rollerderbyworldcup.bigcartel.com

Teams are rotating and selling their own merch at the entrance to the arena, next to the ATM.

If you have any questions, let us know!

We hope you are all enjoying this event, whether you are here with us in Toronto or watching online!
